The name of the company is Australian Breastfeeding Association (the Association).
The Association was founded as the Nursing Mothers' Association in 1964 and changed its name to the Australian Breastfeeding Association in 2001. The Association was founded by Natalie Mary Paton. Foundation Members were Janice Elizabeth Barry, Glenise Jean Francis, Patricia Alison Patterson, Pauline Judith Pick and Susan Louise Woods.
The Association is a company limited by guarantee.
The replaceable rules in the Corporations Act do not apply to the Association.
